ICE Facilities Management were engaged by Portsmouth City Council to install a new house lighting system for the Guildhall.
New house lights were installed, taking advantage of modern, dimmable LEDs, which range from 0% to 100% brightness, using a wireless control protocol, which reduced the amount of time required to install.
House lighting at very low levels of brightness used to be difficult to achieve using LEDs without flicker, but ICE’s expertise and quality installation and finish ensured that the lighting system achieved this performance whilst maintaining the original, appealing aesthetic of the historic Guildhall.
The new system also means the Guildhall now has suitable lighting for expanded uses during the day, including conferencing and similar events.
